Assemblymember Low, Athletes Speak Out on “Patients Right to Know Act”

(Sacramento)  - Assemblymember Evan Low (D-San Jose) and State Senator Jerry Hill were joined by three female athletes affected by physician abuse for a State Capitol news conference to discuss Senate Bill 1448, the Patient’s Right to Know Act. The measure would make California the first state to require that doctors on probation in connection with sexual misconduct notify their patients of that status and disclose any conditions placed on their practice.
