Assemblymember Low Honors Frost Cupcake Factory as AD 28 Small Business of the Year

SACRAMENTO—Assemblymember Evan Low (D-Silicon Valley) today awarded Campbell’s very own Frost Cupcake Factory as the 28th Assembly District’s small business of the year. Frost Cupcake Factory owner Andrea Buswell Parks received the recognition during the California Small Business Association’s Small Business Day ceremony. 

“Frost Cupcake Factory’s award-winning sweet treats and gourmet cupcakes are unparalleled,” said Assemblymember Evan Low. “I am proud to recognize such a vibrant contributor to our local economy.”

Located in Campbell, California since 2011, Frost Cupcake Factory specializes in gourmet cupcakes and other baked goods. The business was a winner on the Food Network program Cupcake Wars in 2013.

Business owner Andrea Buswell Parks grew up in Los Gatos and has lived in Campbell for the last 18 years. She graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in business/marketing. An active member of her local community, Andrea has shared her leadership and expertise in business and marketing with the local business community through her role as President of the Downtown Campbell Business Association. She also participates in local charity events, including the 2016 Hunger at Home fundraiser which raised more than $1 million for non-profits.
