SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Evan Low (D-Silicon Valley) issued the following statement regarding this morning’s tragic accident near the Highway 101 and 85 interchange in South San Jose:
“I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims in this morning’s accident. My office has been in communication with the California Highway Patrol to gather information about the incident and await more details from all the parties involved in the ongoing investigation. This is also a reminder to use extra precaution when driving on roads and highways in inclement weather. Leave ample room between your vehicle and the one in front of you and allow for extra travel time in case of slow moving traffic. If you feel unfit to drive, pull over to prevent an accident from happening. This ensures safety for you, your passengers, and other drivers around you.”
