Covered California – the state's health insurance marketplace – began connecting Californians with coverage on January 1, 2014 and has become one of the most successful health insurance programs inspired by the federal Affordable Care Act. Covered California is an easy-to-use marketplace where most Californians can purchase health coverage that cannot be denied because of a pre-existing condition.

In order to enroll here is what you will need to bring:
- Proof of Income: Current income of all family members on the application (Current paystub or current bank statement, tax return, W-2, recent pay stubs, etc.)
- Birth Certificate or Legal Resident Card
- Proof of Residency: Utility Bill
- Proof of Identity: Current driver’s license or picture ID
- Proof of Property/Assets: Current bank statement or vehicle registration
- Social Security Number
